Hello, I have a four year old golden retriever bitch. From an early age she has always been really good at her toilet habits and rarely soiled in the house. Over the last four weeks she has started to do this during the day when on her own, I wondered orginally if she was alone too long (7 hours approx), however the other day she did nothing all morning and then in the afternoon in a three hour sby mandy - Ask The Vet

Hi Walter, I have a 3 year old Golden ret bitch. She is lovely, but a pain on walks with running off to eat horse poo and dive in puddles. No sooner is she dry from the morning walk, it is time to take her out again. Due to the lack of significant sun, every day is an endless bathing episode (as she really likes the muddy puddles). hello, following a recent change in my circumstances I am now the sole dog carer for my three year old gold ret bitch. She has previously only been left alone a maximum of about six hours and this was not daily. I came home at lunch on monday, but she did not appear interested or anxious in seeing me, she went back to sleep and stayed there till I left to go back to work thirty minutes later.
