Ring worm

Hi, i'v found a 11 year old horse that i really like, though he has a couple of small bear patches of skin on his face, which his owner says were due to ring worm he had, which he must have gotten before she got him as her other horses don't have it. shes told me that the hair should grow back. is this the case? or could it be some kind of skin infection perhaps ?I'm aslo worried it might grow back leaving him with white spots as i'v heard this can happen after ring worm has been treeted ?

Hi, Rebecca,
You should get this checked out by a veterinarian. He can take a sample to make sure that if it was ringworm, it is now dead. The hair may or may not grow back white, if it grows at all.
