My female cat who is around 18 years old. We have had her since she was around 18mths from Battersy cats and dogs home. She has been a house cat all her life never wanting to go out even with open doors and windows. Yesterday she started acting strangely, was disorientated, very wobbly on her feet mewing alot bulging eyes and licking her rear end constantly. This morning we noticed bloody gel in the litter tray, although she seems much better today she has more energy and is more stable on her feet, . She is eating and drinking fine. But she is not right. Still mewing and noticed she was 'stomping' with her front legs as if she was unsure unsure what is beneath her feet. She has slight gingervitus and has been a bit wet around her mouth recently.She is still being affectionate but is obviously seeking for us to help her. She has an appointment with her vet tomorrow morning but is there anything we can do to make her more comfortable until then.
