Hi
My 4 1/2 month old kitten recently puked up some nasty worms, but he still had lots of energy. I brought him into the vet a couple of days later when they could get me in, and they put him on a broad spectrum wormer. As soon as I started him on it he became lethargic. I brought him back to the vet the next day and they thought everything looked fine, especially since he pepped up when we got to the vet. So I brought him home, and he became quite lethargic and wouldn't eat for the most part, so I brought him to a specialist that night to check again. They said everything looked normal as well, and gave him some fluids. He ate some on his own yesterday in the morning, but then stopped eating again, and got very constipated. Now he is drinking lots of water but not eating unless I feed him baby food in a syringe (which he is not thrilled about) I don't know what else to do. He is so lethargic, but still alert, and purrs when I cuddle with him and pet him, but I know that he needs to eat. I don't want to make another trip to the vet, especially since they can't find anything wrong. Is this at all common with worming? He had a lot of bid nasty round worms.
