Cat ran into a wall!

Cat ran into a wall!

My poor cat had a mad spell today and ran into a wall! We have full length curtains dividing two rooms (for warmth purposes) and he was aiming for the parting, but found a partition wall instead! He seems fine but I wonder if he could have half a paracetamol in case he has a headache? Grateful for advice.

Hi

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
You must not give your cat a paracetamol tablet as it is actually toxic to cats. I hope you read this reply in time. We dont have any safe remedies in the human medicine cabinet to give to cats because their liver function cannot handle our drugs. Sorry but if your cat is in pain he needs to see a vet. If he is acting fine but a bit quiet he will cope with a slight headache better than he would cope with the toxic effects of a paracetamol tablet, that could be fatal to him.

Thanks Cathy, no I didn't give him anything. He seems fine today, his usual self. Must have a hard little skull!

Thanks for letting me know and I am really pleased you didn't give him the paracetamol. Regards and Happy New Year.
