Hi I have a 9 month old male kitten that has been injured by a car been to vets everything O.k but he has a large wound on the left back hip. Was given Dermisol cream to put on it. But whenever I put it on he licks it of was wondering if this will harm him, if so any advice. He also has a wound on his neck much smaller but he has been losing hair all round it. This wound was quite swollen but now much smaller so think it is healing. No pus or discharge from ether wound but should I continue with Dermisol even though he his licking it of ?

It should not be a problem apart from slowing the the healing. Try an elizabethan collar to stop the cat getting at it. Warm salt water is as good as anything else to bathe the wound.
