i would like to know if any one can help.. my goldfish has been floating upside down now for 4 days. he seams o.k in the morning but during the evening he goes upside down.. does anyone know what could be the problem.

Your goldfish has a problem with its 'swim bladder' an air-filled organ which maintains its buoyancy. Could be caused by one of several problems, all unlikely to be resolved (but a fish speciacilist reading this may be able to offer better advice!)

I know what it is.

Its swim bladder. It is caused by poisoning/water quality How often do you change your water? How big is your tank?how many fish do you have in side. If the fish is eating well it should be fine, i also have a fish with swimbladder i suggest you go to your local pet store and tell them the problem. They would probarly give you no:13 which is swimbladder treatment. Finally do you have a filter pump? .
