My guinea pig has what looks like a lot of dandruff. I have been giving him ivermectin and it does not go away. (this problem has been going on for over a year). What should I try next to get the dandruff to go away. He has no other symptoms.

A vet would be able to do some tests on the dandruff to find out if it is a parasite problem or something else. Guinea pigs can suffer from ringworm which is a fungal problem and would not be treated by ivermectin.
