lump on dogs testical

hi i've just noticed that my dog has a lump on one of his testicals. Should i take him right to the vets or is this normal in animals?

The short answer, although somewhat facetious is it depends whether it is part of the normal testicle (there is a lumpy bit at one end in many cases) or whether it is a growth. If you are unsure then get it checked out.
