Have been reading a lot about exercising young pups, I have a 3 month old Irish setter pup, when may I start taking her for long walks. I have had setters in the past and never had any problems but reading all the items today it looks like I have been lucky to avoird problems

I really do think that some of the advice on not exercising pups is overdone!
I have always had labs myself. and have never restricted their exercise.
As long as the puppy is getting a diet adequate in Calcium especially, and sufficient - NOT an excess - of vitamin D, I think that you are more likely to suffer from too much exercise than the pup!
