hello my name is kelly mason,x im in year 9
i have always wanted too be a vet but the only thing is i ent that good in english lesson will this be a proplem?
i'm doing ok in science and great in maths i just need to work on french and science abit more.
what could i be if i dont get the grades i need at the end of school?
reply soon please i have to pick my options soon and im sure this is what i want to be

Hi, Kelly,

To have a chance of getting in to a UK veterinary school you need A levels at A or A* grades in Chemistry, Biology and Physics or Maths.
If you cannot do that, you can opt for veterinary nursing - either by studying full time at College or by working in an approved veterinary practice and studying part time. For more details contact www.rcvs.org.uk
