I am currently working as a medical doctor having graduated 3 years ago but am considering the huge change to vet mainly because its what I originally wanted to do. I have been looking into this and although the fees are a problem; as has been mentioned before there are some schools that charge standard 3k a year, so far ive found this is nottingham and rvc - does anyone know what cambridge charges and has anyone known a doctor retrain as a vet or have a further pearls of wisdom?! thank-you.

I know several people who have done it the other way round - vet degree first and then medicine.
Does the university where you graduated MB have a veterinary school? If so that might be your best bet, and you may well get some useful exemptions in pre clinical years.
