My Name is Gonzalo Avila , I´m an Argentinian Veterinary, just graduated.
I´m interested in equine reproduction, and I would like to get some information about working in UK, specially with Polo horses, I have some experiences...
I will be waiting some good news, thanks!
Best regards!

You must contact the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, (www.rcvs.org.uk) and check that your veterinary qualification will allow you to work in he United Kingdom - it may not unless you studied at a European univeristy or at one a a few in the USA which are recognised by the RCVS.

There we go again - the sheer arragance of RCVS............ that seem to train for 'pharmacy' primarily.

(Forgive me, Walter).

Argentina is, of course, known for its 'polo ponies' and the very fact that you state a specialisation suggests that you are somewhat educated in your field. I would have to question 'why' - since the only interest can ultimately be profit - which is not necessarily in the animal's best interest. - and surely that should always be foremost. It's difficult to 'equate' that principal with business. It shouldn't be and it is morally/ethically wrong.

However - there are 'alternative' organisations that you might like to contact the British Horse Racing Board springs to mind.

Best wishes.

It is all to do with maintaining standards - and very properly, too.
