I would really like to become a vet when I'm older, I have spoken to some teachers at my school and they have said that it would be a good idea to have some experience with animals first. I wrote to my local Cats Protection and they said that they don't take volunteer workers below the age of 16. I'm 14. I don't know what to do because it seems that most places don't take volunteer workers below the age of 16. Please help!
This is really a matter of insurance - the insurance companies will not cover anyone under 16 against injury and accident. You may find someone who will take yo, but it may be difficult for that reason.
