HI,

I'm considering applying to vet school next year but at the moment am 38. Work experience isn't a problem as I'm a qualified Vet Nurse. I wanted to do this years ago but kept talking myself out of it. I'm still not sure I'd get accepted due to age, although when I work it out I still have a good 30 working years ahead of me.
Any suggestions?

I do not think that your age will be a problem in finding a place at a vet school as long as you have the entrance requirments and can pay the tuition fees for a mature student!
BUT, do you really think that you will be happy still to be working when you are 74 or 75 years old??
