vet tech education

Hello.I am in grade 9 and my goal is to become a vet technician because i love animals. I was wondering what courses i need to bcome one.do i need academic math? i am not doing well with it atm without the assistant of the teacher.i took academic science and got great marks.

A vet technician is a vet assistant.They work alongside vets

Sorry, but you have it wrong. (at least,you have if you are in the UK).
An 'assistant veterinary surgeon' is a fully qualified vet who works in a veterinary practice but is not a partner or principal of the practice.
Are you thinking about 'Veterinary Nurse'?

You do not need Maths to BE a vet, but in the UK you do need Maths or Physics to get into a university veterinary school.
